Week 1 Overview
God's Promise
In Isaiah 9:1-7 we see God promise an end to all strife and conflict with the announcement of a child who will be born and will reign forever.
The Angel's Announcement
In Luke 1:26-38 we see the angel Gabriel appear to Mary and announce that she is going to have a son, even though she is a virgin.
The Fulfilment of God's Plan
In Galatians 4:1-7 we see that even though it took 700 years from God's promise in Isaiah until Mary had her son, that God's timing was perfect.
Handel's Messiah
